"Love the bed and my kids are super excited! That said, assembly would be much easier if all the screw placements had pilot holes. This was especially a problem with the stairs. By the time you get to those final screws for the connection brackets, the positioning was extremely awkward and it was a struggle to get the screws 100% flush with the metal, even using a drill. "After 15 months our bunk bed is literally cracking and breaking apart. It's incredibly unstable, so much so that I can shake it and it's literally swaying side to side like there's an earthquake. We tried fixing it with wood glue, and tightening the bolts but it did nothing to add stability. I loved it for the first 6 months. After that everything went downhill. Now there's nothing I can do because we're outside their 1 year warranty. I would NOT ever buy anything from them again. Now I'm stuck needing a new bunk bed after just over a year! Very disappointed and frustrated. Buyer beware."

"Once set up, this bunk bed seems like it can withstand active children. Appearance is nice, it fit into the guest room together with a king bed. Item arrived quickly, but one piece was broken. Company replaced it quickly. We are seniors, did not even try to do the assembly ourselves, so we paid a handyman, who brought a second man. Project ended up being several hundred dollars more, for the installation. Altogether, I’m happy and look forward to visit by grandkids"
"Everything was great and easy or relatively easy to put together until the very last thing I had to do on the trundle bed. The slats did not fit properly on the very first and the last because there was a space on the piece of wood that it lays on the hole that the screws go into aligned right on top of the space. You need to take a look at your instructions. I called and left a message as to what I should do but nobody has called me back. I was able to take each slot off the top in the bottom, turn it around so that the holes were near the top of the wood and not at the bottom of the wood. Fortunately, I had a stapler that I could do that. Everything went together swimmingly. It looks great it’s sturdy. The only downside to bunkbeds is making the bed themselves, a little disappointed that your instructions weren’t proper and that nobody got back to me."
